Republican Women of Wickenburg's 2024 Executive Committee


Denise Johnson, President

Denise, along with four siblings, was raised in Mesa, AZ.  She is the proud wife of a U.S. Marine, who has traveled the country with him while raising two children.

Denise's career, over the past 25 years, has been in the rewarding field of teaching Special Education.  She is currently employed at Congress Elementary School in Congress, AZ.

She has been a member of RWOW from its inception.  Denise has served as the 2nd Vice President, 1st Vice President, and is now proud to be the President of the fastest growing Republican Women's Club in Arizona.

Tassie Jundt, 1st Vice President (Membership Meeting and Event Planning, Coordination & Set Up)

Tassie Jundt comes from a long line of strong, pioneer ranchers from South Dakota to Montana. She is dedicated to upholding the Principles of Liberty and the vision of the Founding Fathers of America. She has been volunteering in Wickenburg for 31 years Including Bible Study Leader, Children's Christian Ministry Leader, Girl's Basketball Coach from elementary to high school and State Junior and High School Rodeo event Director. 

Co-Founder with her husband of the Love Your Neighbor Project. Tassie is Currently the president of the Yavapai County Cattlewomen & 1st VP of RWOW.

As 1st Vice President of RWOW, she is responsible for the planning and set up of all Membership Meetings and Events.  Including scheduling of venues, enlisting guest speakers, and identifying themes representative of Republican values.


Laurie Dickinson, 2nd Vice President (Membership)

Laurie Dickinson serves as the Membership Chairman for RWOW.  With a passion for advancing conservative values, she oversees the recruitment, engagement, and retention of members within the organization.  She is dedicated to expanding the group's membership base and fostering a welcoming environment for women who share a vision for conservative principles and policies.

As the Membership Chairman, Laurie is excited to work with members to help shape the future of RWOW, strengthen the Republican presence, and make a positive impact in Wickenburg and surrounding towns and communities.

Kimberly Platt, 3rd Vice President (Ways & Means and Yearly Scholarships)

Kim Platt moved to Wickenburg from Silverthorne, Colorado in 2023. She brings a wealth of knowledge from serving on multiple committees with the Boulder County Republican Women as well as serving two terms on the Board with the Summit County Republican Women. She also was a founding Board member with Collegiate Crossings which helps low income and first generation students pursue continuing education after high school.  In her spare time Kim loves hiking and gardening and being out of the snow! 

As a recent resident of Wickenburg, Kim has quickly gotten involved with local Republicans.   As 3rd Vice President of RWOW, Kim manages the President's Day dinner (our largest fundraiser of the year).  The dinner is the primary fundraiser for our yearly scholarship drive and award, which Kim also manages. 


Kathy Parks, Secretary

Kathy, born and raised in North Dakota, has lived in Arizona for over eight years.  She has spent her career as a teacher in multiple locations including North Dakota, Ohio, Iowa and Minnesota. 

She has been active for 25 years in charitable organizations such a as the Elks Lodge and the Lions Club.  She lives in Wickenburg Ranch with her husband Rick, a retired Refinery worker and Fire Captain, along with her two cats, Brutus and Dakota.

She has served as Precinct Vice Chair in North Dakota, and for the past two years, as Captain of Precincts Wick/Lasso/Spurs/Chaps/Walnut in Yavapai County; as well as Secretary for RWOW.

Diane Lentz, Treasurer

As RWOW Treasurer, Diane is responsible for creating and maintaining the RWOW yearly budget.  She collects all money and insures said funds are deposited in the bank and recorded.  Diane is responsible for our "Care for America" recipients receiving all collected funds, pays and records club liabilities, and reconciles bank and store accounts.

In addition, Diane maintains the clubs petty cash, monitors the club PO Box, maintains the club process manuals, and prepares and submits financial review documentation for annual audit.



Linda Rexwinkel, Parliamentarian

Linda has been a Mary Kay consultant since 1989 after happening upon their skin care products that made a difference in her life.  She loves helping women with their skin care and helping them achieve something they had never before experienced.  Her successful consulting led her to help women in Alaska, California, Washington, and Nevada.

Now living in Arizona, Linda is working to restart her business.  Arizona's fierce sun can rapidly accelerate aging and skin damage and Linda is here to help as she has in the past offering discounts to RWOW members.

As part of the Executive Committee, Linda provides the guidance in relation to RWOW parliamentary rules and procedures.
